About who I am....
I’m a bit of a perfectionist, a
worrier, and sometimes a procrastinator. I love Jesus, I love my
husband and family, and out of all our kittens, Sam is my favorite.
I am a chronic dieter, and I
refuse to buy the next size higher. I'm proud of myself that I'm 38, and I still exercise; I despise running, but I love Zumba. I don't go out dancing, so that's my chance to get my groove on a little. Love to hike and my husband has gotten my into mountain biking. I have to say, it's quite the rush.
I like dangley earrings, knee-high
boots, the outdoors; I like to travel, to eat Indian food, and I love to
sleep. I like to experiment with photography, home decor, scrap-booking
if I’m feeling especially crafty and – blogging ( I saw 'experiment' with blogging, because this is my 4th attempt at it...)
I am a compulsive
organizer, and sometimes, I organize so thoroughly that I can’t remember
where I put things. I am absent-minded, a horrible multi-tasker, and I
have a hard time saying ‘no’ – but it’s getting better.
I need new
goals and projects to keep me motivated and inspired; I am a huge advocate of being a
life-long learner, and if I had my way, I’d be a career student.
I can
be pretty opinionated, but not always very vocal about it; I'm a little reserved but hence, blogging is my outlet. :).
I waste too much time on Facebook - especially when I should be grading paper, and I've recently have become addicted to Pinterest. (My sister and I just made a secret board just for us ...LOVE! The most fun.)
I LOVE
missions and believe that the only fulfilling life is one that is lived for something bigger than myself, something that will outlast me. I believe that
‘something’ is the cause of Christ – and when I’m in sync with Him, I’m
at my happiest and my best. He has won my heart. What matters to Him
matters to me. End of story.
